Why did this movie make Tamara seem evil, and then I’m supposed to be rooting for them?Īubrey, Tamara, and Beth watch the sunset from the spot she was stolen. He says never abducted her and is dragged off by police. Richard tells Audrey that they are lying. It is not reassuring to Aubrey, who hides from her father. Richard shows up and bangs on the door while screaming, “Give me my damn daughter!” Then he shoots the lock off and kicks in the door. Since Aubrey is slow on the uptake, she finally realizes that Richard is her abductor. When they pull out a picture of Tamera at Aubrey’s age, She still doesn’t get it, so out comes the DNA test. They show her a birth certificate and photos of a baby as they recap the kidnapping to Aubrey. Tamera and her mother finally come clean about their real intentions. Richard follows them and wants to get his daughter back. The grandmother questions Aubrey about her past and her parents. They go to Tamara’s mother’s mansion, and she is thrilled to meet her granddaughter. Beth and Aubrey are confused and angry with him.Īubrey runs away and gets a ride from Tamara. He and his wife are the adult influences in Aubrey’s life. ![]() Richard talks to Tamara and tells her that he doesn’t like the relationship she is forming with his daughter. Richard’s secretary/assistant April (Played by Lifetime MVP, Caia Coley.) looks into Tamara’s past and finds out that she is the woman with the kidnapped child and has a criminal record. Aubrey notices that Tamara is a bit possessive. The test scores come in, and Aubrey gets 100%. Tamara even takes Aubrey to school on the day of her big test and tells her that she loves her. They think it is weird she is hanging out with her math tutor, so do Aubrey’s parents. Aubrey blows off her other friends to spend more time with Tamara. Tamara and Aubrey spend some bonding time at a carnival and then the beach. Tamara gives Audrey advice like, “don’t do drugs.” Aubrey is like, “What are you, my parent.” If she only knew. She walks home and is picked up by Tamara, who takes her to the party she was supposed to go to with Travis. (Again, I get it Aubrey is the WORST.)Īubrey gets into a fight with Travis when he gets too handsy. Tamara schools Richard for being rude to his daughter regularly. Beth is impressed with their instant connection. She wins Aubrey over with her patience and calm demeanor. Tamara comes to the house and sees the parents who potentially stole her baby. ![]() SO FUNNY!Īubrey fails her math test, and Mrs. Aubrey laments to her boyfriend Travis about how much she hates her father. She is very high strung about math, so I kind of get it. Aubrey thinks her father is always a jerk to her. Brent recognizes Aubrey as the kidnapped baby. Thirteen years later, a teacher is doing an introduction in her glass room and acts like she has seen a ghost. “In America, a child goes missing or is abducted every 40 seconds.” (Good to know?) ![]() A person in a hoodie walks up and steals her baby right out from under her. She stops by a lake to take a phone call. Under the guise as a math tutor, Tamara finds a way to reconnect with her abducted daughter, but her father will do anything, even kill, to keep the truth hidden.Ī woman walks through the park in the middle of the day, pushing her baby in a stroller.
